Do as the Swiss do...
Well, not really. I can't afford that. But I can windowshop and admire, slaveringly, the expensive vintage chocolate.
is one hell of a big place... And it's got more in the basement. And it's got some great art!
even the ever so picky, and famous, rubber duckies stay here.
Notice the logo on the window. Coffee before breakfast.
First post of the vacation!
Just a few hours are separating me from my vacation. And there is just too much to do... Let's hope I can finish a minimum at least...
Important, but boring, we're working on scoping our work. More effort now is less headache later...
What's so special about this? Well, perhaps the fact that I'm almost 15 minutes early for a change.
While evading one situation, I got caught in another. Thankfully nobody got hurt, except my wallet.
A bit of nostalgia as I was going through old pictures. These were my first pet rats (and there have never been others like them)
Including mirror-wall
We went out for dinner and this is what was served as applejuice. REAL freshmade freshmade from a farm near my birthplace.
Wireshark is a network analysis tool and vital for the technical side of my work.
Having a little lunch at my parents' place.
On my way to an appointment, something went wrong involving a train and a person. Well, I'm trying to be sympathetic for the person, but my direct pain is that this really messes up my day.
Well, it has been my shortest stay ever in Abu Dhabi, but I really am on my way home. Now, in a bit of a Macchiavellian streak, if I was successful now, I will be staying here for a considerably longer time later on...
An office building under constrtction. A concrete skeleton with gas-bubble calcium or ghipsum brick walls. I'm hoping the really big buildings are of sturdier construction. I also think pigs should fly more.
We try to carpool, which doesn't always work out due to diverse schedules, but often enough it does.
New school, classic dance
Lacking a real set, we make do with a laptop (with crappy sound and poor view-angle) for now...
It had to be lightweight, moveable and stackable. ;-)
Test post?
